We may never really know how many people, parents, alienated children, their extended families die as a result of being subjected to alienation, especially those who die by suicide.
In the last few weeks, leading up to National Suicide Prevention Day, I have become aware of several targeted parents whose alienated children have died by suicide or at least by a means that goes beyond just self-harm. In several of these cases, the targeted parent discovered the death of their children accidentally through social media or through a well-meaning friend or colleague who thought they already knew.
And in the last year or so at least one murder-suicide of alienated children has occurred. It will not be the last.
Even more insidious is the effect upon alienated children and their targeted parents who actively contemplate ending their lives because the pain and the injustice is unbearable. Even if they do not act
