Parental Alienation usually occurs during a high-conflict marriage separation where a child will make a sudden display of hatred and rejection of one parent. The child's hostility isn't caused by valid reasons such as violence or sexual abuse; it's the alienating parent 'brainwashing' the child.

Dr. Stan Korosi (PhD) is a consultant, clinical sociologist addressing parental alienation, relational harm, family separation, coercive control, suicide risk, evidence governance and the social-policy conditions shaping post-separation families.
He obtained his doctorate in sociology at the University of the Sunshine Coast (Qld) after researching parental alienation from a social perspective.
