I am sure that Trevor has his own memories of playing the pinball machines. I still recall frantically operating the ‘flippers’ only to see the ball slip past along with the ever-elusive ‘free game’. Little did Trevor Cooper, like so many targeted parents, know that one day he too would be thrown into playing the ‘pinball machine’, this time for his daughter.

Parental alienation is a form of family violence against a parent and a form of child psychological abuse. It is a particular form of coercive family violence where a child is inculcated into a false and irrational belief about a parent whom they once loved. The targeted parent is marginalised, devalued and exploited for imagined failings. These are then used as a reason for excluding the targeted parent from a relationship wth the child and leaving the child in the care of their abusive favoured parent.

We ended up with unaccountable cliques of service providers who profit from a system as adversarial as its predecessor and social engineers who influence the law and long standing legal concepts to redesign the concept of family in the 21st century according to their ideology.
