Responding to parental alienation for practitioners
This presentation was given at the Australian Psychology Society (APS) Conference of Counselling Psychology in Melbourne, March 2015.
It contains the latest information about parental alienation and interventions that are known to be effective.
It was developed for practitioners who work within or outside of the family law system and who work with target or alienated parents, alienated children, favoured or alienating parents. I recommend it to alienated parents, their children and alienating parents. It is important that you know what practitioners are being told about parental alienation and what skills and competencies they must develop to deal with your situation.
